Seattle Gum Wall

#EN: In USA you can see al ot of strange things. One of them is in Seattle located in Post Alley-Gum Wall in the early 1990s, when people waited in line to get tickets to the theater, they started to stuck chewing gum on the wall. At first, they used the gum to stick small coins to the wall, but in time, the tradition of the coins disappeared, and the gum remained. In 1999, when it became a certified tourist attraction of Seattle. Now it is filled with thousands of pieces of chewing gum, of any color of rainbow.

#PL: W Stanach można znaleźć wiele dziwnych rzeczy. Jedna z nich znajduje się w Seattle, na Post Alley. Jest to "gumowa ściana", która powstała we wczesnych latach 90-siątych. Wyżute gumy przyklejali do ściany ludzie, czekający w kolejce do kasy teatru. Początkowo do gum przyklejano drobniaki, ale ta tradycja szybko zanikła. "Gumowa ściana" jednak pozostała. Gnomes do not live in gardens only!

#EN: Usually gnomes live in gardens, but our CROPP gnomes are very special and they are urban gnomes! They have traveled far and wide and ended up in Warsaw at the opening of the Street Art Doping festival, where they have entertained all the participants and observed them closely. CONSOLLECTION

#EN: Consollection is a fantastic overview of (almost) all video games consolet, from unbelievably oldschool ones, like BINGO 2000 from 2972, through classics like Nintendo 64 to those who are the most common today. The site presents a lot of interesting stuff, such as original packaging and browsing through the olders models you can have a laugh looking at the complicated steering systems- knobs, sliders and billions of buttons, almost like in a cockpit.

To Pee Or Not To Pee.

#EN: First, we took number two, now it is time for number one. Of course, on of the two sexes doesn't have to wipe after. So, I have collected toilets and urinals from around the world. There are holy and sky-high, diamond and gold, disappearing and masking, oral and footy, and a little bit winky winky. And here they are.

#PL: Najpierw zrobiliśmy numer dwa, czas na numer jeden. Oczywiście jedna z obojga płci nie musi się podcierać po. Więc, zebrałem kolekcję toalet i pisuarów z całego świata. Są święte i podniebne, są diamentowe i złote, znikające i maskujące, ustne i nożne, i trochę z przymrużeniem oka. I oto one.

And what after that?

#EN: And what, when toilet paper will end? Well. Junior Frtiz Jacquet from a child was fascinated by toilet paper rolls. Just a little patience and manual dexterity. Died here, hit here, fold here and voila. We have new, hand made human (?) face sculpture.

#PL: A co kiedy skończy się papier? No cóż. Junior Fritz Jacquet od dziecka był zafascynowany tubkami pozostałymi po papierze toaletowym. Wystarczy trochę cierpliwości i zdolności manualne. Tu zginamy, tu wciskamy, tutaj trochę fałdujemy i voila. Mamy gotową rzeźbę ludzkiej (?) twarzy.

Oh Shit and Oh Crap.

#EN: When you have got good digestion, it can fly through you like golf ball through metal pipe (of course, with diameter larger than the golf ball). However, there are days when after thousands of sweat drops you still can not hear the 'plop'. You can take with you a book, or a notebook. But for what? It will be just enough to choose the best toilet paper for you.

#PL: Jak masz dobre trawienie to potrafi przelecieć przez ciebie jak piłka golfowa przez metalową tubę (oczywiście o średnicy większej od piłki). Jednak bywają dni, gdy po tysiącach kropel potu nadal nie słyszysz charakterystycznego 'plusk'. Można brać ze sobą książkę lub laptopa. Ale po co? Wystarczy wam odpowiednio dobrany do potrzeb papier toaletowy.
